Edit image
Frame grabs arrive letterboxed, screenshots arrive with a sliver of desktop, and phone photos arrive sideways. Edit image, in the menu on any asset in your own library, crops to a free shape or a set ratio, trims black bars in one step, turns and flips.
The edit is made to the original on the server, not to a preview, so the download, the gallery and the embed all show the same picture. A video can take a new thumbnail the same way: pick a frame, or upload one, and save that frame to the library as a still of its own if it is worth keeping.

Embeds
A published gallery can now live on a portfolio, a studio site or a pitch page. The share dialog builds the snippet: masonry or grid, the frame shape and the size, with a preview of what the page will show.
The embed is the gallery itself, not a copy. Add a still in cine.gallery and it appears on every site the gallery is embedded on.

Published galleries
Sharing a link keeps a gallery between you and the people you send it to. Publishing does the opposite. The gallery gets a permanent address under your handle, it is listed with the other published galleries, and search engines can find it.
Unpublishing takes it off the list, and out of the sitemap search engines read, within the hour.

Team galleries
On a team plan the galleries page now has two sides. Yours are private until you share them. The team's belong to every seat, so there is one version of the lookbook, not five forks of it.

Grid ratios
Masonry shows every picture whole, which is right for a mixed library and wrong for a gallery of frame grabs from one film. The grid now crops to 4:3, 2.39:1 or 1:1, so a scope gallery reads as a row of frames rather than a collage.

Guest uploads
Turn on guest uploads for a shared gallery and anyone with the link can drop files into it: a location scout, a stylist, a client with their own references. Each contributor leaves a name and an email, and every file they add carries it.

Team invitations
Invite a colleague by email and they join through the link in it. There is no setup on their side: the team's library and galleries are there the first time they sign in. Remove a seat and their access ends at once; what they added stays with the team.

Audio, 3D and PDF
A reference is not always a picture. A sound bed for a scene, a prop model from the art department and a treatment PDF now sit in the same library as the stills, each with a preview you can read at grid size: a waveform, a rendered poster, a first page.

Frames from video
Drop in a video and choose Split into shots. Shot changes are found while you watch, each one becomes a frame on a list, and you remove the ones you do not need or add a frame at any moment with the scrubber. Only the frames you keep are uploaded.

Wide-gamut colour
Most phones and cameras record more colour than sRGB can hold. Previews used to be drawn in sRGB, which dulled saturated reds and greens. They are now drawn in Display P3, so the thumbnail looks like the photograph. Originals were never touched and are still kept byte for byte.

Duplicate check
Every file is checked before it uploads, two ways: identical bytes, and pictures that look nearly the same, such as a re-export or a slightly different crop. Matches wait in a review, and you decide on each one before it uploads.
